don't call this a comeback

Did I have a genuine, physical journal, which I scribbled my secret crushes and elaborate plans within, I don't believe that I would make entries such as this one. Nothing worth noting has occurred lately. Halloween was a bust. This was the first time in five years when I did not perform with a band on this wonderful pagan holiday. Parker, a drum machine and I were set to pull off a Sputnik2Billion show, but it didn't really come together. Parker went to Toronto. He came back with ketchup flavored potato chips.

Work is dull. My proctoring job is still a joke. My position with UWyo reminds me of the classroom aides I had in grade school. I actually put together 'decorative department stuff' on walls. My employment as a chef no longer excites me. Some guy came back into the kitchen tonight to congratulate me for cooking one of the best steaks he had ever experienced. He wasn't too happy finding out that a vegetarian/newly minted chef made it.

I have two points of light in my life right now. 1) C. Wright Mills' The Power Elite - The book is dictating the remainder of my lifetime. 2) This little, cute, quirky girl at work who dressed as Audrey Hepburn for Halloween. She is the only female I work with who still has her original hair color. I like her.

I'm ready for some amazing things to happen. I want to actually take off when I attempt to fly. I want federalism to rise in the U.S. I want my brother's new band to get really big in europe. I want, I want, I want. I'm so greedy.
